What a time I have had trying to find some census or information on Farsley.

I would like to know of and people by the surname of Lloyd who may have lived there.

I believe there was a William Lloyd there about 1920 living on Bertha Street.

He was my grandmother's father and likely was living with his second
wife at that time.

My grandmother was Henrietta Lloyd married to Frederick Wainwright
Smith and they came to Canada about 1905 and went for a visit about 1920 as I have a copy of a passenger list.

Any help anyone could give me be very much appreciated as to any Lloyd's who may still live in the area.

Searching for any reference to my Great, Great Grandfather Henry Tiffney residing in Farsley in November 1868 aged 22.

Just obtained his marriage certificate for that date, and his residence is simply given as Farsley Beck; occupation Labourer.

Any help or information you anyone could give me would be very much appreciated.

I am trying to trace the history of my great grandfather William Scholey Richardson, who I believe was born in the Leeds area, and I think lived around the Farsley area around 1857.

Any help or information you anyone could give me would be very much appreciated.

I am trying to find out which of the Hainsworth's of Farsley I am decended from. There seem to be so many of them!

My great-great-grandfather was a Baptist Minister mamed John Harper who married Hannah Hainsworth born farsley 1834.

She was the daughter of Peter and Rebecca Hainsworth of Milbourn Place. Farsley.

He was a woollen cloth manufacturer but died aged 42 in 1853. Peter & Rebecca's other children were Margaret 1831, Grace Ann 1833, Joseph 1836, Joshua Ross 1838 & Daniel 1840.

I would like to find out the parents of Peter & Rebecca. I look forward to hearing from anyone.
