Winning is a feeling Farsley Celtic are getting used to, five wins out of six games in all competitions has seen the feel-good factor return to Throstle Nest.
For all their off-the-field worries, Farsley are entertaining on the pitch and find themselves in 12th spot in the Blue Square North table.

They travel to Hyde United tomorrow and player/assistant manager Simeon Bambrook is hoping the Celts can extend their winning league run to four games.

The Celts are also aiming to erase the memories of last Saturday's 2-0 FA Trophy defeat to Corby Town and Bambrook says they are more than capable of doing so.

"Hyde tomorrow is a big game," he said. "We were disappointed on Saturday at Corby in what was a distraction from the league."

"But we're back to the business of the league and it's another winable game.

"We're looking at every game as winable and that's not being big-headed.

"Hyde will have marked this game down as one to win, but we have surprised a few.

"It's a six-pointer and as Dominic Krief said a few weeks ago, it's nice to see our points total."

The defeat to Corby last week was Farsley's first since the beginning of November when the Celts lost 2-1 at Eastwood Town.

Despite last week's defeat, Farsley's team spirit is still high, according to Bambrook and the 37-year-old is expecting a fired-up Celts team tomorrow.

He said: "The spirit is good – I think Corby deserved their first goal at the weekend.

"The second one was on the stroke of half-time but then we came out all guns blazing in the second half.

"The lads were disappointed to lose, they are disappointed to lose a game whether it's County Cup, FA Trophy or league these days."

Farsley have just one absentee tomorrow, player/first team coach Mark Jackson serves another day of his 14-day ban for a dismissal in a Lancashire League reserve match in November.

Jackson may be back for the visit of Harrogate Town on Boxing Day when influential captain Krief will be suspended after picking up his fifth caution of the season at Corby.

Bambrook added: "It's unfortunate for Dom but he has been on four yellows for a while now.

"However, we have Matty Young waiting in the wings and he gets his chance.

"Dom's gutted as Harrogate is a former club, so he was looking forward to it.

"But now he'll have to wait for the Blyth game."
