Leeds City Council is to spend £125,000 on improving access in schools for disabled children.

"Ensuring that all students in Leeds have access to the best school facilities is something we take very seriously and these works will take us one step closer to achieving this goal."

He added: "These improvements will make a real difference to pupils' lives, making it easier for them throughout the school day and hopefully improving their educational attainment in the process."
