A pupil at Farsley Springbank Junior School, is 'top of the pops' with her classmates having won each of them an MP3 player as a result of her creative talents.
Zoë Airey's drawing of Hannah Montana was judged one of the winning entries in a competition organised by Yorkshire Bank as part of its sponsorship of Leeds Grand Theatre, Opera North and its education scheme Opera 1.

Children from across Leeds were invited to draw their favourite character from a show to be in with a chance of winning MP3 players for their entire class.

The competition was open to children from school years 3 to 6 (ages 7 to 11) and the MP3 players - which are pre-recorded with two opera arias and ready to load with the children's favourite songs - were awarded for the three best drawings from each year group ; making 12 classes in total, with some 300 pupils getting MP3 players.

Class teacher, Laura Tabbererr, at Springbank Junior, said: "The children are absolutely thrilled to have won and Zoë is really proud to know her artistic talent has won her whole class these fantastic prizes.

"Yorkshire Bank's competition was a great opportunity for the children in our school to expand their creativity and express themselves through art, and they all really enjoyed taking part."

A selection of the winning drawings will be displayed at Leeds Grand Theatre to impress theatregoers as they arrive in the foyer.
Yorkshire Bank's head of brand and sponsorship Janet Myers, said: "We had a fantastic response to the competition and a great standard of entries with some wonderful characters.

"I'm really glad we were able to pick twelve winners and not just one; that would have been very difficult."
