Across the city businesses, groups, churches, friends and family will be taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan cancer support to help make sure non one has to face the disease alone.
And the Yorkshire Evening Post wants you to tell us about your event and send in pictures of you enjoying a catch up for charity in Friday’s huge fundraiser.

Hide AdThis year there will be events in places such as Temple Newsam, Leeds Beckett University, the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre at St James’ Hospital - and many, many more.
Among the businesses getting involved is energy giant npower and Leeds staff have even enjoyed tips from Great British Bake Off finalist Andrew Smyth.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.

Hide AdThe charity asks people all over the UK to host their own coffee mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone the charity raised £29.5m and this year is aiming to raise even more.
The first event happened way back in 1990 when guests gathered over coffee and donated the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, the charity did it again the next year – only this time nationally.
