Not only has Marcelo Bielsa shepherded the team back to the Premier League, he’s also become the first Whites manager to win the coveted LMA Championship Manager of the Year award since it was introduced in 1994.
And it’s more than well-deserved for his efforts in transforming Leeds from a mid-table team into a Premier League squad in just two years.

His selfless acceptance speech speaks volumes for the measure of the man.
For him, it is all about the club, its players and the fans.
He puts so much of himself into United and continues to deflect praise.

Hide AdOver the last week we’ve seen a street transformed into Bielsa Way and the Argentine has even had a penguin named after him at Lotherthon Hall.
But now we must seriously look as a city as to how we truly show our appreciation to a man who means so much to Leeds.
