Manning Stainton's Macmillan Cancer Support initiative raises £25,000
The estate agent’s Mannings for Macmillan 2016 initiative saw colleagues from 19 offices taking part in a variety of fundraising events, including the Knaresborough Bed Race and Paint Leeds Green.
It is the third time the firm has chosen Macmillan as the main focus of its annual fundraising, generating a total of more than £160,000.

Hide AdThe money has been used to fund a specialist breast cancer nurse at St James’s Hospital in Leeds.
Mark Manning, managing director at Manning Stainton, said: “I am immensely proud of the way the entire company, as well as family, friends and our contacts in the local business community, have wholeheartedly supported our fundraising effort.
“Cancer affects far too many people, including those nearest to us, which is why I believe there is such a willingness to support the wonderful work Macmillan does.”
Matt Jameson, Macmillan’s Leeds fundraising manager, added: “We are funded almost entirely through donations from the general public and money raised by companies like Manning Stainton.

Manning Stainton also donated around £50,000 to schools, clubs and youth groups in 2016.
