Leeds: Hit and run driver leaves pedestrian badly injured
The 20-year-old was walking alongside Osmondthorpe Lane in east Leeds at about 2.50am today (Sept 21) when a small red car, thought to be a Nissan Micra, careered into him.
The car drove off towards the A64. The victim was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with a serious head injury, which is not thought to be life threatening.

Hide AdOsmondthorpe Lane was closed for about two hours while the scene was examined by forensic experts.
