McColl's in Selby Road was targeted by the men, who were carrying machetes, shortly after 7pm on October 26. Police say no-one was injured during the incident, but the suspects stole tobacco and cigarettes. The men are thought to have escaped in a dark coloured vehicle. A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are investigating an armed robbery, which occurred at a convenience store on Selby Road in Leeds just after 7pm yesterday (26/10) evening. "Four men wearing balaclavas entered the store armed with machetes. "No-one was injured during the incident, however, the suspects left with a quantity of tobacco and cigarettes. "CCTV enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible and a dark coloured vehicle, which is believed to have been used to make away from the scene. "Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 1522 of 26/10 or use the live-chat facility available via the Force website."
