Police talk man down from roof during suspected burglary and find £90k cannabis haul
Police were called to the suspected burglary in Beeston after a man was spotted on the roof.
They quickly found the man and talked him down.
He was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
After searching the property, officers discovered it a 'significant' cannabis farm worth around £90,000.

Hide AdAnother man was found inside the property and arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis.
It then transpired that the man officers talked down from the roof was wanted on suspicion of a serious violent offence.
He had been wanted by South Yorkshire Police for more than a year.
The Leeds Crime Team, who specialise in dealing with burglary and robbery throughout Leeds, shared the incident on Twitter.

Hide AdOn Thursday, August 8 the team said: "Arrest of note reports of an ongoing burglary in Beeston area. Male reported to be on the roof.
"Arrived quickly and male located on roof, talked down and arrested on suspicion of burglary.
"Address transpires to be a significant cannabis farm worth in excess of £90,000.
"Upon searching the address a further male was located inside and was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis.
"The male on the roof was also arrested on suspicion of a very serious violent offence in South Yorkshire and had been outstanding for over a year."
