Members of a Farsley congregation have returned to their chapel building following a 10-week refurbishment.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been equipped with new padded pews, a new rostrum with disabled access, new radiators, a lower suspended ceiling and new lighting and wallpaper decorations.

The building at the junction of the Ring Road and Priesthorpe Road was originally constructed in June 1989 and during the refurbishment members travelled to another church at Vesper Road in Kirkstall.

Although only 19 years old, the building is well used throughout the week and serves members from all across west Leeds.

The congregation meets on Sunday mornings.

Regular charitable work is undertaken by the youth of the Church and a recent project, for people with disabilities, created a driveway at a residential home and cleared overgrown grounds at a day centre.
