Farsley Westroyd Infants: School gets new look playground

Pupils at Farsley Westroyd Infants School will look forward to new playground facilities, thanks to a grant from Northern Rail.

The school has been awarded £500 to improve its facilities as a Northern Rail driver volunteers at the nursery school where his wife works.

Headteacher, Carolyn Sandford, said: "Staff and pupils are very grateful for this generous donation.

"The grant will be used to pay for new playground marking, a water butt to make children aware of recycling water and some outside storage to enhance the play area."
