Farsley Celtic have kicked off a campaign to save redevelopment proposals for their Throstle Nest ground from the scrapheap.

Farsley Celtic chairman Andy Firbank said: "Now is not the time for recriminations or personal attacks but to show the council that the people of Farsley and beyond want improved facilities on our site.
"The planned facilities will not simply benefit the club but the community at large."
Farsley earned their current place in the top tier of English non-league football on the back of three promotions in four seasons.
