This Leeds estate agency and lettings firm has just scooped a Gold standard in the British Property Awards – thanks to its fantastic customer service.

Lintel Properties is a small, family-run estate agency business, run by Mr Imran Butt, which began with just ONE buy-to-let property on its books!

Now, it is one of Leeds’ leading independent sales and letting agents, helping happy homeowners move house and managing hundreds of residential units. They specialise in the selective licence area’s of Leeds, and also run some of the top AirB&B’s in the area.

This year they scooped a Gold award in The British Property Awards in Leeds (for the LS10 and LS13 areas) thanks to their “outstanding customer service” after a rigorous judging process.

What is the British Property Awards?

Polls suggested that only a quarter of customers trusted estate agents, and so a group of former estate agents wanted to put that trust back – believing a few bad apples should not ruin the reputation of good agents, who provide a fantastic service, run by dedicated professionals, and who go the extra mile for clients.

They created a platform to showcase the best agents out there and the British Property Awards was born. Independent assessments are made of estate agents against a set of 25 criteria – and this takes place over moths to ensure continuity and stability.

“We have a fantastic and friendly team who will work with you every step of the way, to ensure things go as smoothly as they can,” said Alex Buxton. “We also have our own, phenomenal, in-house maintenance team, meaning repairs are dealt with in a timely manner.”

Kelsey Dalton rented her first home from Lintel Properties. She said she would highly recommend the company and wrote: “Right from the initial enquiry to the viewing, to moving in and having repairs dealt with, it was a very smooth process. Both Alex in the lettings department and Alexandra in the maintenance department are both lovely and deal with any issues swiftly.”

Meet some of the team

Miss Alex Buxton is the sales and rentals manager. She has been in the industry for 19 years, having started off in a Saturday job at 15. She has a Level 3 Diploma in Property Management and prides herself in customer service and helping people find their perfect home to buy or rent.

Miss Alexandra Ghita is the Accounts and Maintenance manager, who has been in the industry for over three years. She also prides herself in customer service and making sure the tenants pay and the landlords and contractors are paid on time.
