Body Shop stops make-up demos and tester pots in response to coronavirus outbreak
The cosmetics company said it wants to ensure all precautions are taken to protect customers and staff.
In a notice emailed to customers, the Body Shop's UK and Republic of Ireland managing director Linda Campbell said the firm wants to minimise skin-to-skin contact in stores.

Hide Ad"Our number one priority is the safety of our customers, employees and their families," she said.
"At the Body Shop our store teams always follow strict hygiene protocols. We have reinforced these in line with the latest World Health Organisation guidelines.
"Customers are welcome to come into store and use the hand sanitisers placed around the store.
"We have also made the decision to stop make-up demonstrations and to minimise any skin-to-skin contact in our stores.

Hide Ad"We have also removed tester pots from our shelves and will not be giving out any unsealed product samples.
"There are still plenty of ways to experience our products that don't involve tester pots - from our award-winning serums through to our fragrance mists and handwashes.
"We hope you support us in taking these additional measures."
