Kerry McLoughlin hit an 81st minute winner to seal her hat-trick and secure Farsley Celtic Ladies a 3-2 victory at Wortley Ladies.
The victory extends their winning league run to a perfect eight.

McLoughlin had put the Celts into a 2-0 lead, but Wortley fought back to level and set-up a tense last 20 minutes, thanks to goals from Allana Jones and Laura Crosby.

The win leaves Farsley six points clear at the top of the West Riding Women's League Second Division – although Uppermill in second place have two games in hand.

It was clear from the start that the game was going to be exciting and close.

The opening goal of the game came on 26 minutes.

McLoughlin received the ball on the edge of the area and managed to find the bottom corner with the outside of her boot to give Farsley.

Eight minutes later, Farsley were even further in front.

Kath Raw smashed the ball downfield and McLoughlin latched onto it and then lobbed the Wortley keeper from 25-yards.

The turning point for Wortley came before half-time when they were awarded a penalty for a foul.

Jones stepped-up and her strike had too much power for keeper Michelle James to have a chance of saving it.

Farsley continued to press for a third and Hayley Hare went close, but the inevitable Wortley equaliser eventually arrived.

Despite a suspicion of offside, Crosby found the back-of-the-net with a powerful strike from 18-yards.

A point each seemed likely until a rare lapse in the home side's defence saw Hare's ball find McLoughlin unmarked at the back post.

The striker took a touch before carefully firing past the Wortley keeper.
