Farsley Celtic's hopes of boosting their ranks suffered an 11th-hour hitch when a loan move for Huddersfield Town midfielder Matty Young fell through.
The 22-year-old, who has made nine appearances for the Terriers this season, five from the bench, was expected to sign until the end of the season.

Farsley boss John Deacey said: "It fell through at the last minute.

"I spent the whole afternoon messing around and I am totally peeved off with it to be honest.

"Andy Ritchie (Town boss) did his best for us, he was pretty good, but it wasn't to be."
