Farsley Celtic saw first hand how York City extended their unbeaten run to 14 matches on Sunday and boss John Deacey said: "That's what we need to do."
The best Celtic have achieved so far this season is a three-match unbeaten run, when a 1-1 draw against Kidderminster was sandwiched in between victories over Northwich and Histon at the start of September.

that significantly if they are to stave off the threat of relegation from the Blue Square Premier.
After tonight's game Farsley, who were beaten 2-0 by York at Throstle Nest in the FA Trophy on Sunday, will be focused on the leaguewith the
visit of table-toppers Aldershot next Saturday being followed by a crunch trip three days later to an Altrincham side who are just above them in the final safety slot.
Deacey said: "There was nothing in the game on Sunday.Whoever got the first goal was always going towin and York did that with a good freekick.
"We were left chasing the game and it wasn't meant to be. But we played well to be fair, it was a good performance, and we need to step up from that now.
"York are 14 games unbeaten now and that's what we have to do, adopt a winning mentality. We need to bounce back and we need to start stringing some results together.
"After winning one and drawing one we lost to York, and we haven't managed to get a sequence together this season from day one.
"But that's what we need to do now. That's what will get us out of the situation we are in, not just the odd win here and there."
Deacey is expected to make changes to his side tonight, with extending their stay in the Football Conference the number one priority for Celtic.
That should provide an opening in midfield for Dominic Krief, who missed the Trophy games against both York and Alfreton, last midweek, as he was cup-tied having played in the competition for neighbours Guiseley.
Steve Torpey, who has been on benchduty, could also be promoted to the starting line-up and will have the chance to stake his claim ahead of the big games ahead.
Deacey won't want to risk all of his regulars, though midfielder James Knowles and defender Scott McNiven may be given run-outs in what will probably be their final game
before suspensions kick in under the totting up system.
Deacey said: "Setanta have been excellent for the league this season and we will have to show the competition respect, which is what we will do.
"But the league is everything to Farsley Celtic. It means absolutely everything for us to stay up this season, so we will have to bear in mind what is ahead of us."
Meanwhile, skipper Ryan Crossley will see a surgeon this week to discuss what steps need to be taken to rectify his back problem.
Crossley had an MRI scan last week which has revealed a problem with a disc in his back.
