The Rothwell keeper then pulled off a magnificent save to deny Dani after she was put through by Katie following a long pass forward by Bethany Lewis.

At the other end Megi Moo kept the Vixens on level terms with a couple of fine saves while Bethany and Chloe Watson, who bravely played on after picking up an early injury, were again solid at the back pitching in with some well time tackles and clearances.

Going forward the Vixens played one of their best passing games of the season with Megan, Dani, Katie, Rachel Brown and Charlotte all linking up well to produce some flowing moves.

Rachel made some superb runs from midfield and Chloe made a powerful drive forward from the back but the alert Rothwell keeper was always quick off her line, making some great saves at the feet of the Vixens.
After the break Farsley continued to play some good football and a neat one-two between Katie and Rachel forced a corner. Dani sent over a superbly flighted corner which was palmed behind by the goalie for another flag kick.

Midway through the half a Rothwell breakaway ended with Megi making a brave save at the feet of a home striker.

But a minute later they were not so fortunate when another break out of defence ended with the Rothwell forward firing past Megi.

Megi then made another good save to keep Farsley in the match and with time running out the Vixens stepped up the pressure on the Rothwell goal, forcing corner after corner and a string of good saves from the keeper.

With four minutes to go though the Vixens finally found a way through when Katie threaded the ball past several defenders and the keeper from the edge of the box for a fully deserved equaliser.
The Vixens then went in search of a winner but Rothwell hung on for a draw after some more fine saves by their outstanding keeper.
