It's not a wind up - a Farsley church group held a special service to thank people who raised money for the church clock.
Dedicated parishioners at St John's Church, Farsley, had kept the clock running on time for over 150 years.

Every week a team had to climb up three flights of stairs to handwind the mechanism.

But in recent years, the task became increasingly difficult for the parishioners - all in their 70s - so they decided the clock had to switch from manual operation to automatic.

After a range of local fundraising events and donations, £6,000 was raised and an electric motor was installed in June.

The Friends are now busy raising money for the repair of the church's stained glass windows.
