Perspex screens, table service, hand sanitiser stations and socially-distant tables are just some of the new measures we can expect at our favourite watering holes when bars and pubs are permitted to reopen. But not all bars and pubs are immediately opening their doors this weekend. These 10 bars and restaurants will still be closed this Saturday:
1. Fibre
Fibre will remain closed until further notice. In a statement, management said they hope to reassess the situation soon and thanked customers for their understanding Photo: Google
2. Revolucion de Cuba
Revolucion de Cuba has a phased reopening plan for its bars. The Derby and Manchester bars will reopen on Monday - but the Leeds bar will not be open this weekend
3. Revolution Leeds
Revolution Call Lane and Revolution Electric Press are not yet reopen - and bookings for this weekend are not available online. The bar is taking pre-bookings for early September
4. Dry Dock
In a message on Facebook, Dry Dock announced that preparations to open were in 'full swing' - but the bar is not yet ready to reopen this weekend
5. The Library Pub
Like Dry Dock, the Library Pub is run by Stonegate Pub Company which issued an identical announcement. The Library Pub will not reopen this weekend
6. Las Iguanas
The popular restaurant and cocktail bar won't be reopening on Saturday. The chain will phase the reopening of its restaurants, but says it is 'not quite ready' to reopen
