I was so very sad to hear of this tragedy. On behalf of Holderness Vikings ARFLC and I'm sure the whole Rugby league community I would like to pass on our sincere condolences and to let Ricky's family and many friends know that we are thinking of them at this saddest of times.

When you went it's just silence I hear
how I long for you laughter, your cry, your cheer
I feel like my heart is being pressured by sorrow and sadness
my tears have now taken over my happiness
A piece of my heart has been stolen from me
why did you die so unexpectedly
It overtook you with silence and disaster
when you died the tears came faster.
I love you deeply with all of my heart
you lightened my life when I was in the dark
Thank you for all you have done for me
a father figure is what I see
To my beautiful big brother Ricky!
